About Skilz

Artist Jose May, better known as "Skilz" is a resident muralist in the Dallas area with over 20 years of experience. His mediums consist of spray paint with inspiring variations in style such as graffiti, contemporary, and abstract designs. Skilz started his art career early on by teaching himself the basics of drawing and painting. Later joining one of the first graffiti street artist groups in Dallas called Infinite Crew (IC), he quickly became best known for his imaginative, colorful character creations. Mentored and influenced heavily by his peers, his inspiration often stems from past experiences and encourages others who view his art to think outside the box. You can see his murals scattered throughout Dallas, focusing in areas such as Deep Ellum, Arlington, and other various DFW Cities.  In 2017, he teamed up with local Artist Pkin to create Art Loot 52 – an online platform that features both artists whose motto encourages viewers to “Look Closer, Enjoy More.”
